Abacus London Review
Abacus is a Bar in the heart of the city of London that provides pretty much everything you’d want. Open from 12 till late (midnight mon-wed, 2am thurs-frid), Abacus has 3 bars and a club stretching over two floors.
If you’re after an intimate booth for a date, a larger booth for celebrations, a table for a daytime meeting or simply a bar stool to prop yourself on; Abacus has the stylish environment to suit your needs over both the ground level Bar and the basement level Lounge Bar.
As would be expected Abacus has a tempting cocktail and food menu, although not huge there’s a good choice of classical and modern drinks and dishes. A Happy Hour between 5 and 7 helps to push aside any work worries and before you know it you’ll be up on the dance floor. Can get busy later in the week and be warned Abacus has a strict dress code – mostly suits here.

Don't be put off by any -ve reviews of this place. A nite's only as good as the crowd U're with anyway... We booked an area downstairs - all good. Music cheesy but few drinks and U're there - worth stocking up during happy hour. Decent eye-candy about tho it was bank hol w/e hence up for it and friendly atmosphere. Only downside would be they pack it out majorly. My group of 20 or so guys and gals - all age late 20s, early 30s, loved it. Would go back again.”

I visited london for the first time a year ago in jan 2006- and happened to stumble upon Abacus after a random day of being tourists. Well stumbling upon Abacus was so random that i met a british guy there - and ended up dating him for a year and traveled all over europe together. As an American who had never been abroad... it was the highlight of my first trip to London - i had a fabulous time. I highly recommend Abacus- fantastic place :)”
