Australian London Review
This 19th century pub used to be the local for Prince's Green cricket ground, then the aussie cricket team arrived. The first time Australia played England on these shores was here and no doubt due to the need to celebrate winning the Aussies made this pub their local, to such an extent that it changed it's name.
So, after a brief history of the Australian, what's it like now? Well if you're into cricket and cricket memorabilia (which simply drip from the walls) then you should without doubt make the effort to visit this pub. Otherwise, to be honest, it's a tad hard to find situated as it is in no man's land between south kensington and the kings road and not really worth the effort. Saying that, there's a good selection of beers and cheap booze (£1.85 for a Double Gin) and reasonably priced food.
The Australian - Interesting pub for it's history, useful for cheap drinks, but that's about it.
