Miami Vice meets the Poseidon adventure, the Kensington Roof Gardens is a large expanse, which incorporates restaurant, disco and rooftop garden all in one. A hundred feet above Kensington High Street, is an unexpected location for a lush, Mediterranean world of ponds, palms and flamingos, but the 1.5 acre landscaped Roof Gardens has been around now for 70 years and is one of the best known roofs in the world.

Expensive for the quality I expected but did not receive.
My wife orderd a medium steak, when it came it was blue, we asked for it to be taken back and recooked, when it came back again it was still rare. My wife does not like blood on her plate.
Before our meal we had drinks and a walk in the gardens that we found to be quite pleasent but expensive. After the meal we asked where the nightclub was and was told it was on the ground floor. We then proceded to the reception were we had to pay £10 each. No problems with that I thought until I asked the way to the restaurant and was told it was on the sixth floor where we had just come from. In fact we paid £10 to go back to a place where we were not impressed with the so called nightclub. To round it off the same three drinks had gone from £11.50 to £18.50
NO I WILL NOT BE RETURNING.
