Boisdale of Bishopsgate London Description
Boisdale of Bishopsgate is situated in the heart of the City, just opposite Broadgate and Liverpool Street Station.
The ground floor is home to a traditional Oyster & Champagne Bar which provides an excellent watering hole for the local business community whilst the downstairs McGonagall Room, Restaurant and Piano Bar offer a more intimate space for relaxing, entertaining or formal dining. Business events and private functions, be they large gatherings or small get-togethers, can be hosted during the week or at weekends.
The Boisdale of Bishopsgate Restaurant is set on the lower floor and offers table and banquette seating for formal dining at lunch and dinner for up to 72 guests. It is decorated in the warm Boisdale livery of dark reds and greens with a subtle hint of tartan.
The McGonagall Room, beside The Restaurant, can accommodate up to 42 guests for private dinner parties during the week, and at weekends. It is available on its own, with the Restaurant, or either of the bars for larger parties.
The Piano Bar is a relaxing bar with banquette and table seating offering traditional cocktails, wines, spirits and beers and any of Bishopsgate’s menus.
Every evening the bar features traditional live jazz from the ‘30s and ‘40s. It is available for private functions for up to 60 guests during the week and at weekends. In conjunction with The Restaurant, The Piano Bar is the ideal venue for pre-dinner drinks or dancing after dinner.
The Champagne & Oyster Bar features a classic City marble-topped oyster bar and tables for less formal dining. At weekends it is available for private functions of up to 80 guests, or more if combined with the lower floor space.
