Brasserie St. Quentin London Description

Brasserie St Quentin was one of the first brasseries in London, offering the best of La Cuisine Bourgeoise, sourcing produce from suppliers and farmers around the country. The hallmark of St Quentin is simple classic dishes from the best ingredients at an affordable price. They make sure that you can lunch or dine with a glass of wine from the a la carte menu at under £20 or spend as much as you like on foie gras, veal sweetbreads and kidneys or Dover sole. There are 20 wines at under £20 a bottle, some at £3.50 a glass, plus an excellent list of fine wines.

St Quentin was founded by Hugh O’Neill, now The Lord Rathcavan, and his kinsman Quentin Crewe, the late food writer. Sold to the Savoy Hotel in 1989 Brasserie St Quentin was repurchased by Lord Rathcavan and friends in 2002. The Marquess of Salisbury is one of the shareholders, whose estates in Dorset supply St Quentin with traditional breed pork products, roe deer and other game.

Their new General Manager Gemma Dean has made the move to St Quentin from Claridges, following her previous stint working for Anton Edelmann at the Savoy. Her youth and enthusiasm brings a breath of fresh air to the front of house team.

For your next party, celebration or business entertainment give a thought to the privacy and excellence of the private room at St Quentin. There is no hire charge. It is available for groups from 10 to 20. You can design and order any menu with their patron chef, Gary Durrant. For up to 12 people you can order from the a la carte menu. They have a special list of fine wines and special offers for the private room in addition to their wine list in the restaurant. You can stage wine tastings there, or hold small corporate or trade presentations there.
