Le Piaf (Dulwich) London Description
Relaxed, stylish and friendly are all part of the Piaf magic. Carefully blending informal dining with the vibrancy of the Mediterranean makes Piaf a great place for special occasions or just catching up with friends.
At the heart of the community, Piaf is well established in South London with landmark restaurants in Dulwich Village and Wimbledon.
Professionals, students and residents all find Piaf appealing, attracted by the warmth and atmosphere of a brasserie setting. Piaf prides itself on meeting every occasion, allowing guests to either have a business breakfast, enjoy coffee with friends, catch up over a reasonable priced lunch or dinner, or just drinks before going to the theatre.
Classic to contemporary dishes are carefully put together to ensure that there is something for everyone – Prawns Pil Pil with hot garlic and chilli butter, Moules Marinieres - fresh mussels in a white wine cream sauce with bread for dipping, Pan-fried Butterfish on a bed of Mediterranean style vegetable cous cous with pepper confit, Halloumi and Mediterranean Vegetable wrap with hummus and tzatziki and Homemade Banoffee Pie with freshly sliced banana, caramel and whipped cream to name a few.
The warm ambience, attention to detail and rustic charm all help to make Piaf a memorable experience

“A group of us visited on a Sunday afternoon and were not impressed. My friend's supposedly 'well-done' burger was almost rare (even after being sent back once!), and my steak sandwich was half-cooked and half raw - it obviously had only been half on the grill! To add insult to injury they messed up the bill and tried to charge us for puddings we'd not had. The waitress was friendly, helpful and very apologetic but the manager and chef simply didn't seem to care - they didn't even come out to apologise in person, just sent the poor girl running back and forth. Disappointing and overpriced. We won't go back.”
