Sway London Review
A man walks into a bar and buys a drink. The same man comes back to the same bar a few days later and buys another drink. Again, a third time, the man returns to the bar and buys yet another drink. The inquisitive barman finally breaks and asks, “Why iz eet (because the barman is obviously French) zatchu kip coming beck ‘ere? (At which point the barman decides to talk in an English accent) Is it the art deco appeal, or the waitress’ alluring foreign accents, or the near-legendary Martinis, or the white fluffy cloud feature hanging from the ceiling, or the aqua-marine and emerald tones of the rendered antique photos, or the lushness of the red carpeting in the basement, or the £3 Happy Hour cocktails, or that feeling of superiority as you ascend and descend the stairs outside, or the unusual mixture of hot young things that frequent the establishment, or perhaps its the interesting diagonal sinks in the toilet?”
To which the man replies simply, “No, I’m just an alcoholic.”
Ok so it might not be the funniest joke you’ve ever read but like I said to the chap who came to fix my washing machine this morning, “You’re not here to listen to my jokes.”
Not as ‘Top Shop’ as its little sisters The Loop and Strawberry Moons. Otherwise 7 out of 10

Sway London Description
Sway - comfort food classics for a new generation. The modern menu bursts with flavour, and the terrific dining room is a vision of style with comfort. You'll be bowled over by the mod-Brit take on old favourite dishes like the roast pork and herb sausages with mash potato and caramelised onions. You might even struggle to chose which of the three elegant bars to grace, and find it hard to leave the club's DJ nights (three weekdays of funky fun till after midnight).

“Very dissapointed. I booked in for a stag party to be told atthe door that we were a large group of men (dont say) and was told we were not allowed in. I have lost all my money and whole stag night was ruined”

“I often lunch here as the food is great and you're guaranteed a seat. Let down by the slow service.”

“Booked as part of meal/theatre deal. Waited over 90 mins and only received starter (salad). Drinks came after starters. Asked 3 times to speak to manager, chased food 4 times. We were told that they had over-booked the restaurant but we would get our drinks free. Food was aweful and service ridiculous. No apology - had to try and find somewhere else to eat before showtime. Sadly we did not take the advice of the pre-cedding guests who told us not to bother. Take my advice and don't.”

“I was in London on a weekend city break from Italy. I am originally from London and like to get back as much as possible. I had heard of Sway but had never gotten round to going. I went there on a Saturday night with a few friends and loved it.
We managed to get there just before ten pm and missed the cover charge, which was a good start to the evening. The place was quite busy, but we didn't have to wait long at the bar. The staff were relaxed and seemed to be enjoying themselves.
The best part of the night for me was the music. It was really funky house and the DJ in the main area knew what he was doing! All in all it was a great night (even though the next morning wasn't). I will definitely be going back there.”
