The Butcher and Grill London Description
A rare combination under one roof, The Butcher and Grill comprises a modern butcher shop, an informal restaurant and a casual bar. Emphasising the quality of the produce from their own butcher counter, the staff aim to offer a good service in a simple setting. You can order from the butcher counter or from the menu, featuring high quality meat cuts, simply grilled or roasted, alongside potato dishes, vegetables or salads. A range of slow braises and stews are also served in the winter. The decor highlights the art of Ian Wilmott's abstract images of Smithfield Market from days gone by, along with black and white photographs of animals in their natural habitat. Meanwhile, the bar offers coffee, patisserie and a full breakfast menu in the morning, whilst you can relax or celebrate with the diverse list of 75 wines, many offered by the glass, in the evening.
