The Grey Goose London Description
The Smoke Rooms became The Grey Goose over the summer of 2007. More of a gastro pub now with reservations taken for diners and drinks parties, they have a seating area outside.

This place is awful. I go regularly, as I am a glutton for punishment, but I do love the quiz on a Tuesday. He is brilliant, the place isnt. There are always about ten members of staff, but you can sit at a table, ignored for hours. Likewise I have stood, the only customer, at the bar, and the staff have continued their own conversations. The service is slow, and when i enquired where my burger was after one hour, the staff member said "it's busy, isn't it" without even a sorry. I was then sick in the night after the burger - great food too!”

Had such a lovely evening at the Grey Goose - laid back atmosphere with excellent music that did not interfere with conversation.
While our first two choices of wine were not in stock, our third was available, and extremely enjoyable. The food was lovely, a bit of a wait for meals to arrive, but the baked camembert and steamed veggies were worth it, and good value.
Relieved to see that foie gras is no longer on the menu, allowing us to return our custom to a great local pub.
Staff were attentive, but unobtrusive. Looking forward to returning to the Grey Goose.”

What have they done to this place? When it was the Smoke Rooms it was a really good laugh, excellent atmosphere, DJ, dancing, packed and a good night out.... now the Grey Goose is.. drab, dodgy decor, stinks of food, miserable bar staff with lots of obvious in-fighting, boring music (so quiet can't even hear it), boring atmosphere... what a shame... will have to find somewhere else to drink as definitely won't be going back!”

With its naturally relaxed no rush atmosphere, cool and calm staff and homely interior ....you could be in your own home. But with the added benefit of table service.
After it’s metamorphosis from the 100 Club to the Smoke rooms ‘The Grey Goose’ has now finally unfurled its wings and is now the place for the social butterflies who belong to the mellower side of Clapham and Clapham Park.”
