The Hospital London Description
Based on the site of an 18th Century hospital in Covent Garden, The Hospital has evolved into London’s pre-eminent centre for the Creative and Media communities.
The Hospital is set over 7 floors houses a Private Members Club, Gallery, TV & Music Recording Studios and Origin Bar & Dining Room. Its location, in Covent Garden, and the combination of businesses within it, makes the building unique. Covent Garden has long been a popular area for creative thinking, entrepreneurship and entertainment: all things The Hospital stands for. The building is in the Borough of Camden, on the border with Westminster, which between them are the base for the majority of creative professionals in London.
The Bar and Lounge: the largest open space in the club is comfortable and accessible for eating, drinking and conversation. This is the crucible of the Club, and provides members with space to relax and be themselves. It is the perfect place to watch the world go by.
The Bellini Bar: how on earth did Prosecco and white peach juice end up in the same glass? It must have been Guiseppe Cipriani, who invented this worldfamous cocktail at Harry's Bar, Venice in celebration of the 15th Centruy painter Giovanni Bellini. The Hospital creates variations on this classic using the freshest ingredients. Take your pick from raspberry, blackberry, blackcurrant, strawberry, pear, apricot or watermelon. Sit back and relax in this quiet, imtimate bar and enjoy these modern classics.
The Martini Lounge: Martinis are the quintessential cocktail and what better place to enjoy one than this? Panoramic views across London and full of light during the day, the Martini Lounge is the perfect place to relax with a drink in your hand. The terrace adjoining the room is open during daylight hours all summer. This is the place to work during the day and at night the place to party.
The Club Restaurant: open, visible and vital. Unpretentious, comfortable and full of food that you would like to have cooked at home in an environment that feels like home. Flexible menus for lunch and dinner. If food be the music of love then eat on.
The Forest Room: entertaining in private is a serious matter. And this is quite a serious room. Intimate, exclusive but flexible, this is the perfect room for select lunches and dinners with its service pitched to help you conduct private parties in the atmosphere you want. This room is also ideal for conferences and larger group meetings.
