The Valmont Club London Description
As the only club listed in the “GQ” Top 100 list, this stunning 300 capacity nightclub with striking interior design, an impressive cocktail list and a desirable location on the Fulham Road Chelsea, has made it to the number 1 position of our favourite Exclusive Members Clubs in London.
The Valmont Club is located on the site formerly known as Café des Artistes, which used to be a popular 1960’s and 70’s live music venue fraternised by The Rolling Stones and Roger Waters, where performers included David Bowie and Queen. 40 years later, the site – now beautifully restyled courtesy of Lee Broom Design – is still a magnet for the super sexy cool.
The team behind The Valmont Club have clearly recognised the need for a refreshing alternative to the often one-dimensional Chelsea nightlife. The venue, which is split into 4 main areas, is definitively original with juxtaposing subdued colours and soft, comfortable furnishings coupled with bright neon statement signage. The entire venue is adorned with traditional sculptures, paintings, antique furniture, funky Neon lights, black glass and gold beaded curtains. They also have a spectacular bespoke lighting system like no other in London which comes alive as the evening unfolds.
The Valmont Club have also managed to exclusively secure the services of top DJ and music producer Ollie Twist. Expect to hear Pop, Electro, House, Rock and Dance Classics along with some awesome remixes of current club favourites. Ollie Twist has previously held residencies at some of London most exclusive clubs and has also played private events for some of the world’s best known celebrities.
If you and your group enjoy the finer things in life and prefer to party in exclusive VIP surroundings then The Valmont Club’s 60ft sheer black glass-topped bar, banquette seat ing areas separated by gold beaded curtains and their series of private VIP booths with individual music volume control should satisfy your opulent tastes.
Speaking of opulence – the Valmont Club cocktail menu is the epitome of all things lavish – so you won’t find any sparklers or gongs here! Each cocktail (with the exception of the mojito) can be served in a vintage Chambord bottle and customers can choose their glassware from a range including shooters, tall, Martini and Dom Perignon Sniffers (for 2 people). Exclusive London favourites include The White Widow (£10.00 Tall or £85.00 Bottle – served with ½ bottle of Veuve Cliquot) which is a delicious mix of Stoli Vanilla mixed with Lychee juice and sugar, topped with Veuve Cliquot champagne and Chambord. We also love Remy’s Syphon (£85.00, serves 2 people) which is a Remy Martin vsop cocktail mixed with fresh apple juice, cranberry juice, apple liqueur, caramel liqueur and ginger ale, all served in an old fashioned siphon.
The good-looking, well-heeled crowd that the club attracts really adds to the allure of the place making The Valmont Club not only a great place to chill out in style but also our number 1 exclusive member’s club to party until the wee hours. The Valmont Club is open Thurs-Sat 7pm til 3am. For information on membership contact The Valmont Club on 020 7352 6200
