Guide to spooky & scary pubs in London for Halloween
Fluid Foundation has put together a list of both spooky & scary Pubs. From the 'scary' theme pubs that continue to haunt Londoners, to the traditional old pubs of London that have 'real' (honest) ghosts and spirits haunting them, along with pubs that are well, simply just scary. You'll also find some London pubs and bars that are doing something a bit special for Halloween this year.
Overview: St Paul's. Get yourself down to the Bell, Book & Candle - one of the Eerie pubs in London - with reasonably priced drinks for this area of London, the Bell, Book & Candle is a Gothic pub to aim for if you?re into something a little different from the norm.
Overview: Whitechapel. Notorious for its association with the Kray Brothers, it was in the Blind Beggar, back in 1966, that Ronnie Kray shot and murdered a rival gangster, George Cornell.
Overview: The City. Positioned in the City, the London Stone lays on the ?Ol London Town spookiness for the tourists.
Overview: Slough. Given the Royal Stag?s long history, it is not surprising that the pub is reputed to be haunted. A ghostly handprint said to appear on a downstairs windowpane was photographed in 1979 and is currently displayed at the bar. The hand allegedly belongs to a child who died outside in the churchyard while waiting for its drunken father on a dark night.
