The Endurance London Description
Soho has numerous pubs and bars but The Endurance must be the only one with a beer garden. Situated in the heart of Berwick Street market, the pub is a great choice for anyone shopping on Oxford Street needing a refresher on a summers day.

“Terrible pub, run by a bunch of Basil Fawlties, was moved twice from tables to make way for dinning people (even though the tables had not been reserved) I saw a guy who had been waiting for nearly 40 mins for a meal, complain and be verbally attacked by the bar staff. When I intervened was told to mind my own business. The landlord was arrogant and unsympathetic. I've been to this pub before and always found the bar staff either slow or plainly rude, but returned and put it down to overworked staff. Very busy, tends to put more effort and time on dinning customers and ignoring drinking ones, which does not make this a traditional pub as some reviewers have stated. With all the decent pubs in Soho, just avoid. But if your palette is basic and easily pleased and don't mind being treated like cattle then enjoy.”

“Aaah this place ain't so bad! It's great for drinks after work. I've never had a bad night there. I like it so much i've celebrated my last 3 birthdays there. Its great for celeb spottig. Last birthday I had there I saw Kiera Knightly & Kathy Burke drinking there! Don't let the food reviews put you off. The jukebox is wicked, the drinks are reasonably priced. And there's always a great atmosphere.”

“It's alright if you like fit barmaids, who can pull pints. Mind you the little oriental fellows do get a little annoying when collecting glasses.
By Joe, the bear did scare me the frist time I noticed it in the corner.
A rather comnprehensive jukebox to boot.
Well worth a pint after work on a Friday.
Grubs nice too and that!
all my mateas are fans apart from one bloke but he's a ginger stick in the mud so who cares?!
MINE'S A PINT!!!”

“My girlfriend and I were refused a drink on a Sunday afternoon as we weren't eating! Isn't this a pub?? The guy behind the bar looked like a weasel and was very rude. Avoid this place!”

“I have enjoyed lunching at the Endurance, despite it's rather chilly environment [close those doors], good sausages and mash, at one time the best in Soho! Today however the surley attitude of the waiter who couldn't have been more rude over our request for a side order of fries with our meals resulted in our entire party of 8 vacating after pre-lunch drinks. Select your staff more carefully and broaden your now limited menu is my advice to the management if you want to keep your customers!”

“This pub charged my credit card for over £100 and then did the same for my boss for the same tab number. Then when I rang up to complain were very rude. So you have been warned!
nice beer garden for the summer months though..”

“great place to go in soho if you don't fancy a proper boozer or a ponced up bar. it's a bit inbetween. it's the sort of pub that wants to 'keep it real' but is really a slice of hoxton in soho. it always manages to suck you in and get you drunk, even though you weren't planning to. good jukebox, cute men with haircuts.”

“This place has changed and changed for the better. No longer The King of Crap, sorry i mean Corsica, this place is making a good effort of reintroducing that old soho spirit. Back to being a true soho boozer with a traditional fish and game restaurant thrown in - superb!”
